Its old quarter surrounds the Alc\u00e1zar de Jerez, a Moorish fortress founded in the 11th century. It offers much of the vibrant culture you&#8217;d find in places like Granada and Seville\u2014flamenco music; endless tapas bars\u2014albeit in a for more relaxed setting. You\u2019ll also be in the Sherry Triangle, so tasting the sweet and strong wine straight from the barrel at local tabancos is a must.<\/p><p>Andalusia is an autonomous community in southern Spain. It is the most populous and the second largest autonomous community in the country. The Andalusian autonomous community is officially recognised as a \u201chistorical nationality\u201d. The territory is divided into eight provinces: Almer\u00eda, C\u00e1diz, C\u00f3rdoba, Granada, Huelva, Ja\u00e9n, M\u00e1laga and Seville. Its capital is the city of Seville (Spanish: Sevilla).<br \/>Andalusia is the only European region with both Mediterranean and Atlantic coastlines. Often Seville would have better deals on car rentals.
